USA TODAY Cashback lets you earn cash back or rewards when you shop through our site and make a qualifying purchase, a percentage of your purchase is returned to you as cashback. The percentage is advertised on each individual store page on USA TODAY Cashback.
Yes, sign-up and earning are free. Some payout methods have thresholds, but there are no hidden fees.
Simply register with your email address and other basic details (or login using your USA TODAY account using the buttons provided), verify your account, and start browsing offers. Joining is free and no purchase is required to sign up.
After signing up with your email address, we’ll send you a message with a verification link. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder, or request a new verification email. If the issue continues, you can contact our Cashback support team for assistance.
Earning Cashback
When you click through to a retailer’s site from USA TODAY Cashback, we use tracking technology (such as cookies or tags) to record your visit. If you complete a qualifying purchase during that visit, your cashback will be tracked and added to your account.
Common reasons for missing or untracked cashback include:
- You did not click through from USA TODAY Cashback before purchasing.
- Ad blockers or browser settings prevented tracking.
- You used a promo code not listed on our platform or the store does not pay cashback when coupons are used.
- You returned or canceled the item.
- Another site or extension interfered with tracking.
- You visited another affiliate website between click and purchase.
- The purchase was not made within at least a few hours of the click being tracked.
- Merchant did not inform USA TODAY Cashback of the purchase information.
No. Some products, categories, or payment methods may be excluded. Each offer includes a detailed list of applicable exclusions and terms. We recommend reviewing each retailer’s terms before purchasing.
Payout / Redeeming Cashback
Cashback becomes payable once the retailer confirms the purchase, the return window has passed and we have received the funds. This usually takes a few weeks, though it can take longer for some retailers.
Once your cashback is payable and you reach the minimum $20 withdrawal threshold, you can request a payout. Available payout methods may include PayPal or direct bank deposit.
You must reach a minimum balance of $20 before requesting a payout.
Once the funds to pay your cashback have been received from the retailer and your account has reached the minimum payout threshold, you can request a withdrawal via your selected payment method.
If you choose to receive your cashback via bank transfer, the payment will appear in your bank account with the sender listed as TSG Inc., and the transaction reference will be USA Today Cashback. This helps you easily identify the payment.
We’ll also send you a confirmation email once your payout has been successfully processed.
PayPal payouts are coming soon - once available, you’ll be able to request payment to your PayPal account, and we’ll notify you via email when it has been sent.
Missing Cashback
Cashback can take several hours to several days to appear. If it hasn’t shown up after 30 days, you may be eligible to submit a Missing Cashback claim from your account dashboard. Some retailers manually batch import cashback transactions at month end so we require this timeline before we're able to investigate. Our team will investigate the claim, contact the retailer and come back to you as soon as possible.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Support > Missing Cashback.
- Fill in the required purchase details (retailer, date, order amount).
- Upload your receipt or confirmation if requested.
- Submit the claim and we’ll follow up with the retailer and update you.
Most missing cashback claims are resolved as swiftly as possible but can take up to 8 weeks, depending on the retailer. We’ll notify you as soon as your claim has been updated.
Yes. You must wait 30 days from the point of transaction. Claims must be submitted within 90 days of your purchase date. Late claims may not be accepted.
We do our best to recover missing cashback, but not all claims are successful, especially when tracking was blocked or the purchase was not eligible. Always shop through USA TODAY Cashback and avoid using third-party codes or extensions for best results.
Technical & Account Support
Click the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page. You’ll receive an email to reset your password. If you don’t receive it, check your spam or junk folder. You can use the Support section of the website to contact us for further help accessing your account.
Log in to your account, navigate to your profile settings, and make the changes you need. You may be asked to re-authenticate or verify changes via email.
Common causes include incorrect login details, unverified email addresses, or technical issues. Try resetting your password or contact support for help.
Offers, Terms, and Conditions
Yes. Retailers may update, pause, or withdraw their offers at any time. While we aim to keep offers current, all rates and terms are subject to change by the retailer.

We follow strict privacy and data protection practices, including compliance with applicable laws such as CCPA and GDPR. Your data is only used to provide the cashback service and is never sold to third parties.
